WoW downgrade 4.3-4.0.6

1. If you do not have WoW yet, head over to http://us.battle.net/en/ , sign in or register, and download the client (I have found out that you only need to download about 1GB from the official launcher, as private servers still install data in-game anyway).

2. Once that's done, head into your WoW folder (for typical Windows it will be either C:/Program Files/World of Warcraft or C:/Program Files (x86)/World of Warcraft). Once there, head into Data and delete expansion4.MPQ. Within that same folder, go into enUS and delete expansion4-locale-enUS.MPQ and expansion4-speech-enUS.MPQ (if you don't have them for some reason, then don't worry about it).





1. Download this folder which contains the data for version 4.0.6 - Needed: http://www.4shared.com/rar/fzZ-W6Oy/...ecognized.html

2. Delete all files within /World of Warcraft "Don't Delete Folders! only the files".

3. Go to /World of Warcraft/data and delete (alternate.MPQ - alternate.MPQ.lock - placeholderArchive.temp - wow-update-base-15211.MPQ). - Only if you have these files.

4. Delete the "cache" folder in your World of Warcraft directory.

5. Now open the downloaded "Data by Unreconized" and extract all of the files to your wow main directory

6. Open the file "By Unrecognized.exe" and wait few minutes. It will download the necessary files (in the background) and will open WoW at the end of it. Close WoW once it has succesfully opened. (5-20m depending on your internet connection).

7. You are all set but remember NEVER open the launcher because u will update to the latest version!!!! [U can play on p. servers now xD]


4. Make sure that you grab a cracked launcher.
